There are many resources to help find out more about  the life and experiences of the young soldiers:

Resource Toolkit - Every item has a story.

The Ministry of Education has compiled a resource pack for schools.

Auckland War Memorial Museum provides a wide range of educational opportunities to help engage students with the events of the First World War including animated videos. 

Online Cenotaph - records of servicemen and women. 

The Great War Exhibition 

National Army Museum, Waiouru also has educational resources available on line. 

New Zealand History on-line has a wide range of articles covering all aspects of New Zealand in the First World War.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission has a wide range of teaching resources available online.

Auckland Libraries has an on-line exhibition of books, maps,and photographs of the First World War.
